Fishing Report – 10.12.06-16.12.06

Those anglers brave enough to face the rain this week had some good results. 300mm of rain have fallen at Swanswater already this month with Wednesday/Thursday being the wettest.  Although the water level was the highest we have ever seen it, there was so much rain that what was pouring through the ponds was relatively clean and as soon as the rain stopped and the level began to drop, fishing conditions were excellent again. The Fishery is closed from 4.oopm on Sunday 24^th December until 9.ooam on Tuesday 26^th December.  The Boxing Day Competition on Swanswater is fully booked but fishing is available on the small ponds.  We are open every other day, except for January 1^st, from 8.00am till 4.30pm.  The management and staff of Swanswater would like to wish all our anglers a very Happy Christmas.
